Inauguration by the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency

The Director General of the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency, Abrar Hussain, inaugurated the Expo alongside Telenor Pakistan’s leadership. Hussain engaged with exhibitors, exploring various innovative sustainability solutions. He emphasized the private sector’s crucial role in advancing Pakistan’s environmental policies, praising the Expo for promoting more responsible living practices.

Innovative Solutions on Display

The Expo highlighted several innovations targeting environmental benefits, such as:

  • Construction bricks produced from recycled plastic
  • Reverse vending machines that offer rewards for recycling plastic bottles
  • Eco-friendly products designed to reduce waste

Interactive activities included live plantation and urban gardening demonstrations, providing attendees with practical lessons in sustainable living.
