ISLAMABAD — A Turkish defence delegation, led by Lieutenant General Fedai Ünsal, Vice Chief of Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, visited the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in Islamabad. Their visit to the National Emergencies Operation Center focused on exploring cooperation in disaster management, emergency response, and climate resilience.
Enhancing Disaster Management Framework
During the meeting, strategies to enhance collaboration for managing emergencies were discussed. The aim is to strengthen the existing disaster management framework between Pakistan and Turkey. This effort seeks to ensure a more effective response to natural calamities.
