LAHORE — The Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA) in Lahore has implemented a zero-tolerance policy towards negligence during the upcoming monsoon season. Managing Director Ghaffran Ahmed announced the measure on Friday, emphasizing the importance of operational diligence.
During a high-level meeting focused on monsoon preparedness, Ahmed instructed officers to remain fully committed to public service and ensure seamless operations. The directive aims to prevent delays and inefficiencies in tackling the challenges posed by monsoon rains.
The agency’s move comes as part of efforts to maintain effective water and sanitation services, underscoring the necessity of proactive management during adverse weather conditions.
