Weekly Inflation Rises by 0.46 Percent in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD — The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported a 0.46 percent increase in weekly inflation for the period ending June 18, 2026, based on the Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) for the combined consumption group.

The SPI for the reviewed week rose to 357.76 points from the previous 356.11 points. This measure helps gauge the average household’s financial burden on purchasing essential goods.

The data provided by PBS highlights the ongoing challenges faced by consumers amid fluctuating economic conditions.
