World Blood Donor Day Celebrated in Sukkur Honoring RBC Team

SUKKUR — On Saturday, Sukkur celebrated World Blood Donor Day with a special ceremony organized by the Regional Blood Centre (RBC) Sukkur. The event honored RBC team members, including Agha Asfand, Dr. Qadir Muneer, Afzal Waseer, and Umar Ramzan, recognizing their significant contributions to the program’s success.

Notable Guests and Ceremony Highlights

The ceremony was attended by several notable figures. Chief guests included Deputy Mayor Sukkur, Dr. Arshad Mughal; Commissioner-I Sukkur, Naveed Mirani; and Assistant Commissioner, Sara Faraz. Other significant attendees were Dr. Ahmed Mujtaba, Dr. Abdul Aleem Koso, Dr. Shahid Mirani, and Abdul Jabbar Shaikh from the Sukkur Blood Bank.

Traditional ajraks were presented to honor the guests. The event also featured a cake-cutting ceremony, adding a celebratory touch to the occasion.
