Establishment of Engro Center The government has declared the creation of an Engro Center to support cotton and sugarcane growers. This center provides technical guidance and ensures the availability of quality fertilizers at approved rates. Expert Guidance for Farmers Regional farmers receive expert advice on crucial agricultural practices. These include: Effective cotton crop management Balanced use of fertilizers Integrated pest management The aim is to achieve a production target of at least two bales of cotton per acre through enhanced methods. Solutions for Water Shortages The Punjab government is also implementing strategies to address canal water shortages in cotton-growing areas. Additionally, they are working to raise awareness about the Kissan Card registration process, highlighting its importance in accessing agricultural subsidies and services.
