He added that the Indus Delta region holds significant untapped hydrocarbon reserves, presenting investment opportunities with implications for long-term energy security.

Sindh Government Distributes Rs26.3 Million to National Games Medal Winners

KARACHI — The Sindh Government on Wednesday honoured athletes who won medals at the 35th National Games 2025, distributing Rs26.3 million in cash awards at a ceremony held at the Ibrahim Joyo Auditorium, Liaquat Library. Sindh secured 92 medals at the Games, which were held in Karachi from December 6 to 12 — the province’s first time hosting the event in 18 years. Athletes claimed 11 gold, 25 silver, and 56 bronze medals across the competition. The ceremony, hosted by the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, was attended by DIG Traffic Syed Pir Muhammad Shah, Director Sports Asad Ishaq, Sindh Olympic Association Secretary Ahmed Ali Rajput, and other senior officials.
