ISLAMABAD — The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled power outages on Monday for maintenance work. This will impact several areas in its region.
Power Outages in Islamabad and Rawalpindi Circles
The IESCO spokesperson stated that the Pir Sohawa feeder in the Islamabad Circle will face outages from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. Concurrently, in the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, the Rehmatabad-I, Takbeer-I, Chaklala, and Kot Jabbi feeders will also be without power.
Additionally, the Rawalpindi City Circle will experience power cuts during the same timeframe. The specific affected areas include:
- Sector-IV
- APHS
- PAF
- Dhok Chaudrian
- Peshawar Road
- Millatabad
- Cheering Cross
- NRC
- Cobe Line
- Askari-XI
Outages in Chakwal and GSO Circles
In Chakwal Circle, the Jamalwal and Mengan feeders will experience power suspension from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Meanwhile, maintenance in the GSO Circle will affect several 132-kV transmission lines, resulting in outages from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The impacted lines include:
- New Wah-POF
- Chakwal-Bhagwal-Talagang
- Kahuta City-Palandri
IESCO management apologizes for the inconvenience and assures that power may be restored earlier if maintenance concludes ahead of schedule.
