ISLAMABAD — The National Assembly on Thursday passed The Pakistan Telecommunication (Re-organisation) (Amendment) Bill, 2025, incorporating amendments proposed by lawmakers during the session.
Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja presented the bill before the House and briefed members on its key provisions.
The passage of the legislation marks a step toward restructuring the regulatory framework governing Pakistan’s telecommunication sector.
