LAHORE — The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a significant achievement for its PakID app, which has now surpassed 18.1 million downloads. This milestone highlights an increasing trend in the use of digital services across Pakistan.
Surge in Digital Services
In the last seven months, the PakID app alone garnered 8.17 million downloads, according to official sources. This marks a notable shift towards digital government services in the country, emphasizing a growing public engagement with these platforms.
Platform-Specific Engagement
The majority of downloads stemmed from Android devices, totaling 7.13 million users. iOS users also showed significant interest, contributing to over 1.05 million downloads. This data indicates an expanding user base for NADRA’s digital services nationwide.
Rise in Application Submissions
From March to May 2026, the PakID app processed more than 1.36 million application submissions. This increase shows the public’s growing dependence on digital platforms for handling official documents.
