Seminar Explores Conventional and Islamic Banking at NTUF

FAISALABAD — The National Textile University Faisalabad (NTUF), in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), hosted a seminar focusing on the dual banking system, aiming to bridge the gap between conventional and Islamic banking for future finance leaders. The event engaged students from the BS Accounting & Finance and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs.

Held at the Faisalabad Business School, the seminar and exhibition provided an informative platform for participants to explore the complexities and interactions between these two banking systems. The program’s dual aim was to enhance understanding and provide practical insights into the possibilities within the financial sector.

Participants gained a comprehensive overview of both banking systems, with discussions highlighting the operational dynamics and regulatory frameworks that distinguish conventional banking from Islamic banking. The collaboration with the SBP offered students an opportunity to interact with industry experts and explore potential career paths in finance.
