KARACHI — The School of Visual and Performing Arts (SOVAPA) at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, successfully presented its fourth alumni theatre production, “System Down Hai,” captivating a large audience with its engaging storyline and performances.
Renowned playwright Bee Gul penned the play, while esteemed theatre director Khalid Ahmed helmed the production. Nazar Ul Hassan’s performance in the lead role received particular commendation for its effectiveness in portraying the play’s themes.
The event was graced by notable attendees, including Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi President Ahmed Shah, veteran actress Samina Ahmed, distinguished actor Manzar Sehbai, singer and social activist Shehzad Roy, acclaimed actress Saba Hameed, and Rubina Ashraf, along with numerous theatre enthusiasts.
