CAIRO — The Fourth Consultative Meeting of Foreign Ministers from Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye on Sunday endorsed the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran. The agreement is viewed as a significant step towards reducing tensions in the region.
Held in Cairo, the meeting emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts to foster stability in the Middle East. The ministers acknowledged the MoU as a constructive approach that could pave the way for further dialogue and cooperation among regional stakeholders.
The Islamabad MoU, facilitated by Pakistan, aims to address long-standing issues between the US and Iran, with an emphasis on collaboration rather than confrontation.
