ISLAMABAD — Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a landmark US-Iran agreement. The signing ceremony is set for June 19 in Switzerland and represents a significant diplomatic breakthrough. Ceasefire in Military Operations According to the agreement, the United States and Iran will stop all military operations immediately and permanently. This includes an end to related activities in Lebanon. The decision aims to reduce regional tensions and enhance bilateral relations. Toll-Free Passage Through Strait of Hormuz The agreement also ensures toll-free passage through the Strait of Hormuz, authorized by the United States. This waterway is crucial for global oil shipments. This development is expected to boost international trade and improve regional security.
