Pakistan, Bangladesh Sign Trade and Education Agreements Post-Talks

The trade MoU establishes a Joint Working Group to boost commerce between both countries. These trade agreements aim for a 20% increase in bilateral trade by 2027.

This initiative demonstrates both nations’ dedication to strengthening economic ties by expanding market opportunities and enhancing trade flows.

Education Cooperation and Development

The education MoU focuses on offering scholarships to Bangladeshi students at Pakistani institutions. It also includes training programs for civil servants from both nations.

This agreement seeks to encourage youth linkages and academic exchange, promoting human capital development in both countries.

SAARC Revival for Regional Cooperation

Both parties discussed revitalizing the SAARC forum for regional cooperation. The discussions underscored the critical need for multilateral engagement across South Asia.
