ISLAMABAD — Pakistan Kissan Ittehad President Khalid Mahmood Khokhar on Sunday threatened a nationwide protest if the government fails to revise its budgetary and agriculture-related policies. He stated that farmers are left with no alternative but to take to the streets to voice their concerns.
Khokhar emphasized that current policies are detrimental to the agriculture sector, and immediate relief measures are necessary to support farmers. He warned that without changes, the protest would aim to draw attention to the pressing needs of the agricultural community.
Pakistan Kissan Ittehad is calling on the government to address these issues promptly to avert potential unrest in the farming sector. The association argues that favorable policies are crucial for the sustainability and growth of agriculture in Pakistan.
