In a statement marking World Refugee Day, she emphasized that becoming a refugee is not a crime but a painful necessity driven by war, violence, persecution, and instability.
Chief Minister Sharif highlighted that no one voluntarily leaves their home and possessions, underscoring the hardship faced by millions forced to flee. Her comments reflect the urgency for international solidarity and support in addressing the plight of refugees worldwide.
