ISLAMABAD — Rashid Mahmood Langrial, Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), has unveiled a significant plan to build a robust digital framework. This initiative aims to implement comprehensive tax administration reforms. Transformation Over Two to Three Years The transformation of the revenue system is projected to take place over two to three years. During this timeframe, the FBR will lay the foundation for a more effective tax administration process. Modernizing Tax Processes with Digital Tools At a post-budget press conference, Langrial underscored the essential role of a digital foundation in modernizing tax processes. The initiative aims to advance efficiency and transparency within the FBR’s operations.
