Police Register Case After Assault on Sanitation Worker
The police in Muzaffargarh have registered a case against two suspects, Abid Hussain and his son Mubashar, accused of assaulting Faheem, a sanitation worker employed by Suthra Punjab. The incident was officially reported at the Khangarh police station. Details of the Assault According to the First Information Report (FIR), Faheem was attacked with an iron wire and a rubber pipe while performing his work duties. Local residents intervened to prevent further harm. Efforts to Apprehend Suspects The police were alerted via the 15 helpline. However, the suspects managed to flee the scene. As a result, law enforcement has intensified their efforts to capture them. The Deputy Commissioner, Usman Tahir Juppa, ordered the initiation of the case. Official Response and Safety Initiatives Yousaf Chhina, Managing Director of Suthra Punjab, strongly condemned the attack, stating that violence against public service sanitation workers is unacceptable. Safety measures for Suthra Punjab employees are being reinforced to prevent future incidents.
