Chairman PM’s Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan Witnesses MoU Signing Between Pakistani and Chinese TVET Institutions

Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, participated in the China-Pakistan International TVET-Industrial Cooperation and Exchange Seminar held in Hangzhou, China. The seminar was organized as part of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, during Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s official visit.

The event brought together senior government officials, education leaders, TVET experts, and industry stakeholders from both countries to enhance collaboration in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), industrial cooperation, and workforce development.

During the seminar, Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan witnessed the signing of several important Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Pakistani institutions and leading Chinese institutes and colleges, facilitated by the TANG International Education Network. These agreements focus on advanced technologies and multidisciplinary fields, aiming to deepen cooperation in TVET, skills development, educational exchanges, and youth empowerment.

The partnerships are expected to open new avenues for Pakistani youth in high-growth sectors such as advanced manufacturing, information technology, artificial intelligence, engineering technologies, and industrial innovation. They will also promote knowledge transfer, faculty and student exchange programs, joint training initiatives, and access to international certifications.

Speaking on the occasion, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan stressed the need to equip Pakistani youth with globally competitive skills through strong institutional linkages with top Chinese educational and industrial partners. He noted that these initiatives will play a vital role in Pakistan’s human resource development and long-term economic growth.

The Chairman reaffirmed the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme’s commitment to forging international partnerships that provide young Pakistanis with quality education, technical training, innovation opportunities, and employment-focused pathways.

The seminar served as another significant milestone in the deep-rooted friendship and strategic partnership between Pakistan and China, advancing their shared goals of regional development, technological progress, and youth prosperity.
