IRSA Releases 260,100 Cusecs of Water from Rim Stations
ISLAMABAD — The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) has released 260,100 cusecs of water from various rim stations with an inflow of 258,300 cusecs. Tarbela Dam Levels IRSA reports that Tarbela Dam, on the River Indus, currently holds a water level of 1,445.06 feet. This is 45.06 feet above its dead level of 1,402 feet. The dam’s inflow is 145,200 cusecs while the outflow is 145,700 cusecs. Mangla Dam Statistics On the Jhelum River, Mangla Dam’s water level has reached 1,172.05 feet, surpassing its dead level by 122.05 feet. The inflow at Mangla records 35,700 cusecs, and the outflow is 37,000 cusecs. Water Release Across Pakistan Water release is reported across Pakistan at these strategic points: Kalabagh: 204,300 cusecs Taunsa: 160,600 cusecs Guddu: 109,900 cusecs Sukkur: 47,700 cusecs Additionally, River Kabul has released 50,800 cusecs at Nowshera, while River Chenab discharged 8,000 cusecs at Marala.
